Are your gemstones real and authentic?

Absolutely. Every gemstone we use at Dhia Jewellery is genuine and sourced from reputable suppliers. Our moissanite stones are lab-created — not simulated — meaning they have the same physical and optical properties as natural diamonds. Our pearls (freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian, and South Sea) are genuine cultured pearls, and our moss agate and moonstone pieces feature real natural gemstones.

What is moissanite and is it a fake diamond?

Moissanite is not a fake diamond — it is a completely different gemstone in its own right. Originally discovered in a meteorite, moissanite is now lab-created and has its own unique properties: it is harder than most natural gemstones, has more fire and brilliance than a diamond, and is ethically sourced by design. Many buyers choose moissanite specifically because of what it is, not as a substitute.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

Items must be returned within 7 days of receiving your order
Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition

What is not eligible for returns?

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Custom & special order items — items manufactured specifically for you outside of standard website listings
Earrings — excluded from returns for hygiene reasons
Final sale items — clearly marked at time of purchase

Do your products come with any certification or proof of authenticity?

Our moissanite pieces are sourced from certified suppliers. A GRA Certificate with and card are issued with every Moissanite purchase over 0,50ct . Need more information, please contact us at info@dhiajewellery.co.za and we'll assist you.

Are your pearls real or simulated?

All our pearl jewellery features genuine cultured pearls — freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian, or South Sea depending on the piece. We do not sell simulated, plastic, or shell pearls.

What metals do you use in your jewellery?

We use sterling silver (S925), stainless steel, brass and gold-plated settings depending on the piece. Each product listing specifies the metal type used. If you have a sensitivity or allergy, please check the product details or contact us before purchasing.

When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible.

All orders are dispatched via express courier. Next-day delivery is available for orders placed before 1PM Monday to Thursday. Orders placed on a Friday will be processed over the weekend for Monday delivery.

Please note: couriers do not deliver on weekends. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
